Top of the Harder Kulm mountain.

We road on a funicular railway (straight up) to the the top of the Harder Kulm mountain.  The railway was originally built in 1908, but completely redone in 2008.  They have a vantage platform so you can see all of the Interlaken and surrounding mountains, hiking trails and a little restaurant.

  The rivers are such a pretty blue green color from all the minerals.

Casino Kurusal ~ here we had dinner, starting with a cheese fondue.  Yodelers for entertainment.

Aerial cableway to the top of  Mt. Schilthorn.  This was the 007 film location.  This took 32 minutes and multiple gondolas to get to the top.  The summit is 3000m above sea level.

Trummelbach falls.  Amazing glacier waterfalls in the mountain ~ Lauterbrunnen Valley.

This is the outside of a prison in Gruyeres.  Our tour guide thought this was the most horrible looking building ever and she did not even want to look at it.  I thought it looked pretty :)

Greyeres is a touristy town in the french side of Switzerland.  They are famous for their Greyere Cheese.  It was a super hot day that day and the street smelled of cheese..... not a good smell, it was such a beautiful place though!  I loved the castle...coming up!
